Thank you for visiting my Personal Fundraising Page.

A CHECK FOR $35,000.00 was presented to M.D. Anderson research center today 24 0ct 08 at the Lakewood Harley Davidson Dealer in New Jersey.   $2,350.00 of that money plus the off line contributions was through my firstgivings page.  I want to THANK ALL OF MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY MEMBERS WHO TOOK THE TIME TO REACH OUT AND HELP US THROUGH THIS ENDEAVOR.

On  Oct 11 my cousin Helen Lorraine Jefferson lost her battle with cancer and left her family to be at her final resting ground.  I pray for her.

Several family members donated after the cross country trek and after the death of my cousin...I thank  you.  Please hold any other contributions till further notice as the check has been presented to M.D. Anderson research center and the DIVAS are in the process now of re-routing our course for the next year.   PLEASE VISIT THE M.D. ANDERSON Website for any information that may be helpful to you for informative purposes.

I ride for my mother who is a 27 year survivor of colon cancer. I ride for my cousin Helen Lorraine Jefferson who is battling brain tumors and colon cancer.  I ride in memory of my Grandmother and my Aunt who succumbed to breast cancer.  I ride in rememberance of Katherine Brinson and Katherine Gregg (survivors) and for Dianne Cooper (deceased) and for their extended families.  I ride for the cure.

I acknowledge my friends Mary Steele who introduced me to Narianne Massey, who introduced me to Jan-Emanuel Costley,and Dennis Castillo (president of PMBS) and so my journey begins.  I hear my Aunt preach, "Each one teach one." Reach out, teach someone...educate your family, friends,community on early detection of breast cancer.  I will continue the outreach as I cross country with the Divas to promote the finding of a cure.
