It Takes alot of Money to feed a family of Eight!!!!!!

On Christmas Eve, 2008, GABR took in two one year old puppies - a male and a female that had been housemates. As an added bonus, the female, Keiko, was pregnant!  By January 2, 2009, eight puppies were born into rescue.  Jeanne and I spent the next 9 weeks helping raise those puppies and then finding them homes.

It takes alot of support - financial and physical - to be able to raise a litter of puppies.  Without wonderful supporters like you, GABR could not have helped these wonderful puppies come into the world and find homes.

It's that time of year, again!  On September 20, 2009, Guardian Angel Basset Rescue is holding their 12th Annual Waddle.  We raise money for the rescue of Bassets because Basset Hounds have touched our lives. They are truly wonderful, loving dogs that complete our family. I support Guardian Angel through the Basset Waddle as GABR is comprised of hardworking, exceptional and committed volunteers who are dedicated to helping Bassets in need. It’s the kind of group I want to support – that’s why I WADDLE!!

Guardian Angel Basset rescue is the largest single breed rescue in the Midwest. Guardian Angel rescues, provides full veterinary care, fosters and hand selects a home for over 300 dogs each year. GABR is more than a dog rescue as we have helped over 50 non-profits learn how to fundraise, run auctions and profit through partnership in our annual Corvette Raffle.
