Dear Friends,

I spent two years working for this fantastic organization, and while I'm no longer on the payroll, my belief in the value of Touch's work remains as strong as ever.

Over the past six years I have lived and worked in various countries in Africa and Southeast Asia, and across these diverse settings ridden with developmental challenges, one thing stands out: a basic, functioning health system is essential for  development and the promotion of individual human rights and dignity. Too many countries in the world lack this critical foundation.

Touch is addressing this grave deficiency by getting to the root of the problem and pursuing sustainable solutions instead of temporary band-aids. I couldnt believe in a cause, and a methodology, more.

And so, I am excited and honored (and let's be honest, a bit terrified) to run my FIRST marathon for Touch, and I hope you will support me in supporting the great work of this organization. Every single dollar makes a difference. Thank you and please forward this freely! :)
