It has been 8 years since Angeline Macias (Alagille Syndrome) recieved a special gift--life (November 15, 2001)- A liver transplant.  

Each morning we (her parents Tony & Liz) wake up we thank the Lord. We thank him for her second chance. We thank him for all those people and organizations that made it possible.  We thank him for blessing us with special family and friends that stood by our family's side with support and love, too.  
 
In Angeline's honor and that of the donor family we the Macias Family (all 6 of us) do this walk. 

Angeline does this walk.  She wishes she could run but it's too hard on her heart. We didn't think she would want to do it again after last year. She was tired and exhausted after the walk.

When the forms came in the mail Angeline insisted our family do it again in memory of her donor and to promote awareness.  Kids are so amazing when they say something so grown up like that. 

Angeline walks along side many transplant donor families and donor recipients.  We walk for them, too!

This walk/run helps to raise organ donor awareness as well as funds to an organization Vital Alliance  and "Donate/Life Texas". This helps provide donor awareness and donor registration for the state of Texas.

Many will do the walk/run but this was set up for those that would like to simply donate.
