Losing my husband/my daughter's father to suicide is the most difficult thing we've ever had to deal with. Although it's been almost two years it's still incredibly hard to accept. Life as we knew it will never be the same. We'll forever miss him!
This will be the 2nd "Run For Someone Else's Life 5k” that we've participated in. Analise and I heard about The Samaritan's organization shortly before last year's event and knew it was something we had to do. Once again we've registered with The Samaritan’s, hoping that we can help spare someone else the pain that we, as a family, continue to go through. This is our gift to those in need, in memory of Peter.
Please help us to pay tribute to the man who was always there for his family and friends and join us on Saturday October 2, 2010 for the Samaritan’s "Run for Someone Else's Life 5k". You may run or walk along the Charles - DCR's Artesani Park, 1234 Soldiers Field Road in Brighton. There will be festivities to follow which include live music, games, and refreshments.
Registration is at 8am; walk/run begins at 10am.
