I've just joined the board of the Berkeley East Bay Humane Society and am very excited to help this non-profit achieve all of its operational goals.  We have a lot that we want to accomplish in the next few years. Two years ago, the animal care center was destroyed in a fire.  We are working on enhancing the facilities in order to save as many animals as possible from being put down. Additionally, we are working to spay and neuter stray animals to help decrease the population of abandoned animals.
