Meals on Wheels of Asheville-Buncombe County is the largest at-home meal delivery service provider in Western North Carolina. Each weekday, we visit over 500 homes across our community to deliver a nutritious meal, a friendly smile and a few minutes of companionship to homebound seniors in an effort to help our elderly neighbors remain in their own homes and age with dignity. Our caring, hands-on approach provides safety, security and compassion to seniors (age 60 and over) who can no longer drive/shop for themselves, regardless of race, religion, national origin, sex or ability to pay. Like other Meals On Wheels programs across the country, we're volunteer-driven and community supported.
