Our friend, Becky Pope was diagnosed with Stage 3 ovarian cancer in October, 2008.   She had chemo from November 2008 through March of 2009.  Becky now has hair and has been cancer free for 1 year!  Becky dealt with her cancer with humor, her faith and the support of friends and family.

When Becky was going through chemo she was in Academy trying on hats.  As she was leaving the store she heard people snickering but no one said a word.  When Becky got to the car she realized she had an Academy sticker on her bald head that read "Everyday low price $12.99."

We are counting on you to help make her team # 1 this year.  Ovarian cancer has a 70% recurrence rate and is the most difficult cancer to detect.  We want to honor all cancer survivors and remember those who have lost the battle with cancer. Again this year we want to unite together to help fight our common enemy cancer!

Last year we came in 2nd place through the generous contributions of the legal community and entertainment industry and this year we want to take 1st place against this deadly disease.  We hope you will dig deep because Becky is OVARY it!!!!  We think Becky is worth more than $12.99!!  Let's go for $30,000.00!!!!!
