This is my run for....

my chauffer to skating practice every weekend morning for 9 years.

the driving teacher who gave me secret lessons before I had my permit.

the one who always let me get strawberry frosted donuts for breakfast despite the other one's dissaproval.

the guy who would offered to take me on dry runs to Logan Airport just to make sure I knew how to get there safely. 

the reason why I appreciate wine, grilled cheese with mustard and the importance of a tray of after dinner drinks.

the person who calls me hug bug.

This year, I am running the Boston Marathon in honor of my father who has been fighting stomach cancer for the past 8 months and in support of the amazing hospital that has been right there fighting alongside him: The MGH Cancer Center.  My family can say with complete confidence that MGH has given my father the most superb treatment possible.  More importantly every doctor and nurse has made us feel that, with each decision being made, the best interest of our family is truly at heart. 

I am grateful for every day that I get to spend with my family.  MGH, with the worldclass treatment they give their patients, has made it possible for me to enjoy so many of these special days with my mom and dad.  

Please join me in supporting the MGH Cancer Center by donating to my 4th and most important Boston Marathon run in honor of my father.  With your help, I hope to raise $10,000 to help provide other families with the same outstanding care, compassion and hope that the MGH Cancer Center has given us.
