Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!

As most of you know, my daughter Jordan was diagnosed with FMD when she was 4 years old. Most of you probably don't know what FMD is though. It is a vascular disease most commonly found in the renal and carotid arteries, but can be found in any artery. It is most commonly found in middle aged women and is rarely diagnosed in kids. Alot of times it is not found until autopsy. FMD can lead to high blood pressure and stroke.

Most patients are misdiagnosed or not diagnosed at all. The signs of FMD are that the arteries look like a string of beads in most cases, due to the abnormal growth of the arterial cells.

FMDSA is trying to put together a patient registry so doctors can register all of their FMD patients. They are wanting to hopefully find a cause and a cure for FMD.  For more information on FMD you can visit www.fmdsa.org.

Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.

Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
