Thank you for visiting my fund raising page!

As you all know, my dad past away from lung cancer last year. His battle went on for seven years and he definitely put up a good fight. I am absolutely postitive that he would not have had the seven years with us without the help of the many experimental treatments that he took part in. These treatments were available due to all the medical advances that have happened in just the last 10 years. Fund raising is the one way I know to help support the research and development of these new treatments. Someday we are all hoping that this will lead to a cure.

Our family has been blessed in so many ways by the support of friends and family. We are so grateful and would never have been able to get through the tough times without everyone's help - You all know who you are! Thank you!... 

One thing that a good friend of our family, Bill Spreitzer, started was Team Hansen. Team Hansen is a group of runners who are taking part in the Marine Corp Marathon and running to raise funds for the non-profit group, The National Lung Cancer Partnership, which supports finding a cure for this horrible disease.  After attending last years marathon and becoming inspired, my mom and I are attempting to run the 10K at the Marine Corp Marathon (Wish us luck!).

We are asking you to support us by making a donation. Again, all donations will go to the National Lung Cancer Partnership - which is a nonprofit.

I thank you in advance and do not normally ask for money, but I know with more and more cases of lung cancer being diagnosed everyday, that this is truly a problem that needs to be addressed.
