As many of you may know, a little over a year ago my roommate and close friend, EJ, lost her cousin John to suicide.  John was a member of the Fall River Police Department and father to a beautiful little girl.  In hopes of bringing something positive out of this tragedy, EJ became involved with fundraising for the Samaritans.  The Samaritans is an amazing organization that works not only to prevent suicide, but also to provide much-needed support to individuals and families who have lost a loved one.
