As some of you may know, my roommate EJ lost her 32-year-old cousin to suicide in February of this year.  John was the father to a beautiful little girl, and a member of the Fall River Police Department. 

This has been an incredibly difficult time for her family, and in hopes of something positive coming out of this tragedy, EJ is forming a team to participate in a 5K run/walk on September 29 to support the Samaratans.  The Samaritans (www.samaritansofboston.org) is a non-profit organization that provides counseling for suicidal individuals and support to people who have lost a loved on to suicide.
