A non-profit organization established in 1977, the UTAH DOWN SYNDROME FOUNDATION provides outreach, contact support, activities, education and information for individuals with Down syndrome, their parents and families as well as community awareness. This volunteer organization has grown to become Utah's largest support organization in Utah with 14 chapters throughout the state. The UDSF continues today to link families together, to share common challenges, and to educate parents and the public in understanding and appreciating the needs of individuals with Down syndrome.
