March for the Animals 2011
Nearly 12 years ago I adopted my dog Miles from the SPCA of Tompkins County. He came in through a cruelty complaint - his owner had been put in jail and never bothered to tell anyone that he had left behind a 3 month old puppy. For several days or maybe even a week Miles was alone. If it wasn't for the SPCA, I would have never met this amazing animal who most agree is one of the most wonderful dogs around. Of course Miles would have been adopted because he was sooo cute, but without our humane officers who knows if he would have lived through his ordeal.
Each year, the SPCA of Tompkins County protects and cares for more than 3,000 animals. The cost is huge and this year more than ever we need to reach our goal of $100,000. Please help us by supporting me as I march for the animals.
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
