As I have written before, the cancer roller coaster has been a difficult physical and emotional ride for me over the past four plus years.  Even though I am the one with cancer, I am not the only one on the ride.  Patrick, my husband, Emma, my daughter and my family and friends have supported me through every high and low along the way.  Cancer does not affect just the patient but all those who love them.  I have been surrounded for the past three years by my remarkable family and friends who have walked with me and supported Kathy's Krewe.  We walk together with many other teams, in memory or honor of other lives and families affected by cancer.  The goal for all of these teams remains the same.....a cure for cancer.  In my lifetime cancer has gone from a terminal illness to a chronic illness.  That is a remarkable step but there is more to do.  I hope that the researchers will find the answers to move those affected by chronic cancer to cancer free.  I invite you to walk with me and my family again this year and to support Kathy's Krewe with a donation.   Thank you!!
