We are entering into marriage because we view it as a profound and sacred symbol of love, respect, and companionship. We believe that denying this opportunity to same-sex couples diminishes marriage by making it a symbol of exclusion and division.

With this donation we commit ourselves to the idea that love and commitment do not recognize gender, and we take one concrete step toward building the kind of marriage we believe in.
