Hello and Thank you for visiting my page!
Chain off 2010 I will be joining others to chain myself to a dog house for 2 days - July 3rd and 4th 2010 in order to raise awareness and funds for “Dogs Deserve Better”.
All around our country dogs are suffering dying at the end of a chain; they do not have life as most would consider life. More often than not just cruel punishment and often death sentences at the end of a chain.
Solitary confinement is considered the most psychologically damaging of punishments, usually only reserved for the most dangerous felony criminals. Yet here in America the same treatment happens all the time to “man’s best friend”.
Dogs on chains straining to be free become entangled and struggle till death / or strangled and die.
Dogs on chains often go for days without food or water. Dogs on chains are rarely petted or cared for. Often they are terrorized by owners or others -- it is starvation not only of the body but starvation of the spirit and the heart.
The love of a dog knows no bounds, help take a stand to end the torture.
I have been actively involved in the transporting Dogs from shelters to rescues; foster homes and forever homes for the past eight years. I only wish I could do more. This will be my second time as a participant in the “Chain Off”.
Please consider helping those that have no voice and cannot help themselves by sponsoring me in this event. Any amount would be greatly appreciated.
