I will be running the Marine Corps Marathon in October for BeatingDebt.org.

BeatingDebt.org is dedicated to convincing people to stay away from debt.  In this time of high impact marketing, we need an organization that is trying to educate consumers that we don't have to buy, buy, buy to become happy.  Consumerism is destructive to our finances, to our society, and to our environment. 

I am running for BDO to help them increase their educational ads budget, so they can be an alternate voice to the marketers, corporations, and government telling us to buy, buy, buy.  Overspending and debt does not lead to happiness.  http://www.beatingdebt.org/EducationalAds.htm

Please join with me as I try to raise $2620 for BDO by donating a minimum of $26.20.

$5 - Amount BDO spends per day on Educational Ads online.

$26.20 - A dollar a mile for the marathon.

$430.00 - The time in hours I hope to finish the marathon.
