Steven was diagnosed at age 6 mos with Epilepsy, since that time we have been fighting daily to get his Seizures under control.

We have tried all the medication options available to him, for his type of seizures and 2 weeks prior to his 4th birthday, in May of 2011 Steven underwent surgery to have a VNS implanted in the hopes that he could finally start to get some relief.

Steven still suffers. We are starting to see some relief, but his journey is far from over. Later this month (January 2012) he is undergoing Neuropsychological testing because of all that the Epilspey has done and continues to do to his body and brain.

I know what you might be thinking..."I am being asked for money again" and YES, I am asking you for money again...I ask for money 2 times a year to help raise Epilepsy Awareness for Steven and those like Steven who suffer each day from Epilepsy.

But think of it this way...I may ask you only twice a year to think about Epilepsy, Donate and Join us in our efforts...Steven has to live with Epilepsy everyday...and NO ONE asked him.
