A few weeks ago I spoke with Jeff Davis, a Winthrop University Alumni. Jeff told me about Tuberous Sclerosis, his son's rare disease. TS is a genetic form of cancer that currently has no cure. Since Law's diagnosis, Jeff has made every effort toward finding a cure for his son and all others with TS. He has made trips to Washington D.C. in order to lobby for federal assistance in finding a cure.
With the help of friends and the Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance, the Davis' have organized a fundraising walk on April 25, 2009 in Lexington S.C. I plan to walk on behalf of Team Law; and, I have begun encouraging campus organizations to join the cause too.
I am setting a personal fundraising goal of $150; and, every donation is a step closer to finding a cure for TS. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to my fundraising efforts. Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
