On October 12, 2008 I will be running my first marathon in Chicago with a group from Shelter Rock Church (Long Island, NY). We are running the Chicago Marathon to raise funds for World Vision.  World Vision is a Christian relief and development organization dedicated to helping children, families and communities worldwide by providing clean water, health care, nutritious food, education, and economic opportunities.
