The AIDS Foundation is a cause we have supported through the years. We have participated in the AIDS Walk Los Angeles and the AIDS Marathon Los Angeles. Both benifited the AIDS Project Los Angeles (APLA), which helped with treatment, healthcare and reseach efforts in the Los Angeles area. Erin lost her uncles Rene and John to AIDS, so in memory of them we continue to participate in the the fight against AIDS. We have chosen amfAR because of its global efforts. They work with AIDS organizations in developing countries and US communities to create and implement effective research, treatment, prevention, and education strategies.
