Erika Lee's Fundraising Page
Dear Family and Friends!
Well, I'm at it again! On Saturday, September 12th, I will be participating in a 100-mile bike event called the Three Notch Century*, which is challenging ride through Franconia Notch, Crawford Notch and the Kancamagus Highway. Last year, I participated in this event with my very good friend, Stacy Campbell (Rhoads). We split up the route and felt a great sense of accomplishment when we finally reached the end!
Why am I doing this? To support a very important organization called SeaCare Health Services. I've worked for SeaCare for almost 7 years and I am proud to participate in this event to support this agency. SeaCare has nearly 400 health care professionals that donate their time and services to care for people who do not have health insurance. Since 1992, they have donated more than $15,000,000 in health care services and products to thousands of adults and children living in the NH seacoast community.
The need for programs offered by SeaCare has become even more critical in recent months due to the economy. Enrollments are up significantly as more and more people lose their jobs and struggle to make ends meet. It is a tremendous relief to people that SeaCare is here to help them through tough times. As a result, I hope you can join me in supporting SeaCare and the more than 2,000 people we serve each year.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to our fundraising efforts. Or, if you'd rather send a check, please mail it to my attention, payable to SeaCare Health Services, 11 Downing Court, Exeter, NH 03833. Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
Thank you!
Erika
*The Three Notch Century is being organized by Northeast Passage, where my husband Dave works. Northeast Passage is a program of the University of New Hampshire that delivers disability-related health promotion and adapted sports programs throughout New England. www.nepassage.org. Northeast Passage will be providing the infrastructure and logistics for the event (www.threenotchcentury.org). The funds I raise, beyond the $100 registration fee for this event, will be donated to SeaCare Health Services.
