Thank you for supporting my fundraising efforts for WOW - Walk Out NYC!  As many of you know, my father passed away from Wilson's Disease in 2000 and I am walking in his memory.

Wilson's Disease is a rare, hereditary disease in which the body does not process copper (mainly effecting the liver and brain), resulting in copper poisoning.

My goal is to personally raise $2,500 through this walk to support research and treatment of Wilson's Disease.  I believe that with more awareness, knowledge and funding for Wilson's Disease, patients will be diagnosed sooner and provided with more successful treatments so that Wilson's patients can live longer, healthier lives.
