In my 39 years I have never signed up for something so big-like a climb up Mt. Kilimanjaro at 19,340 ft.

The thought of all those steps needed to make it to the top scares the daylights out of me! But I know that I have alot of people that believe in me and so I will break this trip down into thousands of baby steps to climb, and thousands of $1 bills to make it happen.

Nine out of ten children living with hiv/aids call the sub Saharan of Africa home. Approximately three million children are infected with HIV and these are the kids we are going to help. Each number represents a personal struggle.

Although these children are rich in spirit, they need our help to stay alive so we are raising money to get them aids medication, food and shelter (many have no parents)

In June 2011  the first ever all womens team in support of AFCA&CFCA (American/Canadian Foundation for Children with Aids) will together, one step at a time, climb Mt Kilimanjaro so these children have a chance to grow up. See our team website at  www.climbupsokidscangrowup.com
