They say what doesn't kill you makes you stronger~and I know that first hand!My story starts about 17 years ago....I was just starting my junior year.Was going to go out for track and cross country.One morning I woke up and I just didnt feel to good,I thought it was just a bug.Some bug I tell you(LOL).After not feeling good for a couple weeks.Went to doc.He looked at me and sayed o just a flu going around.Gave me med and told me to come back if dont clear up.After about a week I started aching all over.Really bad in the hands and they started to swell.Went back to doc and he put me in hospital and ran tests for a week.pocking and sticking!They where all lost for words.Finally they sent me to a specalist at a bigger hospital,And after 3 hours there they found out what I had! LUPUS~ and then I was LOST FOR WORDS!!!!! I was confused,hurt and mortafide.(Sorry not good at spelling so bear with me.)They started putting me on meds.And let me tell you that sucks.But after a long battle of hosp and med.I started to feel better.Was good was active I ran and walked every day.Stared throwing darts with friends and was living life.Til a moment changed my life!!!Oct 27 I was in a car accident. I got throwen out and nocked onconsence.For about 3 weeks my head hurt and started to get weak.Went to my lupus doc and even he was confuced about why my lupus was acking up and ran test and seen tons of docs.Now I see a couple doc in mayo minnisota.They say being kocked onconsince does diff things to people.I have problems with my legs.Know I walk with a cane and wear leg braces.Cant walk to far and no more running.I use a scooter if go to far.Because my legs cant stand to long they buckle.Thats what hurt the most!!!!You never know what you have till you lose it!And thats been really hard for me...I went from being active to hitting a brick wall.Im on alot of med know trying every thing.LOst all my hair from it.That sucked!!!But its starting to grown back.Know Im just playing the waiting game.Its been really hard for my friends and me.They was so use to me going with them to darts and activets.To them trying to understand whats going on.I use the spoon theory a lot with them so they can understand how I feel and What I go throw know on a daily day.If you like to go to it its butyoudon'tlooksick.com/the_spoon_theory.What I wish for is that more people understand what lupus is and helped researchs studies, and helped friends and family deal with it.Some day I hope there will be a cure!!!For know we just play the waiting game.Its in gods hands!!He does things for a reason....it just takes time.Thanks for listing to my story.Hope I didnt bore you to much lol.So donate and help me make my dream come true~It only take one person to change the world one day at a time!!!!!!Thanks,ErinJo *HUGES*
