Erin Lashnits's Fundraising Page
For the second year in a row, I'm bicycling 100 miles for the Southern Tier AIDS Ride for Life! The Ride is on September 11, and I'm biking with a team of students and faculty Cornell vet school.
The Ride is a fundraiser for the Southern Tier AIDS Program (STAP), to help AIDS prevention and treatment here in Western New York. My goal is to raise $300 toward the team goal of $1,500. I know a lot of us are students and have no money, but I'd really appreciate any donation--or ANY words of encouragement--at all!
This will my second 100 mile ride, although I've done a lot of cycling in the past year. I have my own bike this year, so we'll see how it hold up to the distance! The ride goes around Cayuga Lake here in Western New York. You can read one of my professor's accounts of his ride from last year here: http://www.vet.cornell.edu/news/articles/08RideforLife.htm and also take a look at the website for the ride itself to see the route and all the exciting things they're planning http://www.aidsrideforlife.org/
Thanks for your support!
