Hey everybody!

 

Thanks so much for taking the time out to visit my page.

 

This upcoming fall, I'm hoping to teach at the Shanti Bhavan school in Tamil Nadu, India through the volunteer program, Artists Striving to End Poverty. Shanti Bhavan is a boarding school that provides quality education for children of India’s lowest caste, the so-called “untouchables.”

 

At the Shanti Bhavan school,  I'll be putting  my talents and skills in art and design to excellent use; I will be teaching children art, as well as teaching more traditional subjects to the younger grades, such as reading and math.

 

I'm very excited about this trip; it is my first time to India. I'm hoping to raise money for it through my summer job, holding events/shows, fundraising, and just through your support! Anything you give will be GREATLY appreciated, whether it be monetary, or positive thoughts and prayers. I can't wait to come back with stories and photos for you all.
