Many of you know that almost two years ago now, my brother John, experienced a traumatic brain injury. Doctors at the time told us that he would no longer speak or understand language and would be institutionalized the rest of his life.

WELL, they were wrong and my brother can speak and understand very well and has his own apartment and job. When things were hard and confusing, the Brain Injury Alliance answered my questions and provided me with resources and support.

It will be a blessing to walk with my brother on October 21. Please help us as we give back to the people that helped us when we needed it so they can continue to help survivors and their families.
