I am a former employee, and a current volunteer foster parent for the Humane Society of Charles County. I was lucky enough to work with a great team who were truly passionate about what they do! Everyday at the Humane Society is another chance at life for many animals and you can help too!

The Humane Society has saved thousands of lives over the years. Often, the animals are in need of special diets to promote weight gain, vaccinations, neuter/spaying, life-saving surgeries, and most of all A LOT OF LOVE. Unfortunately, all these services require money and the Humane Society is in need of donations and volunteers.

BARK IN THE PARK 2011:

Bark in the Park is an annual fundraising event giving people like you the opportunity to spend a beautiful day in the park with your furry friend and enjoy doggie games, contests, great craft/food vendors, and help raise funds for the Humane Society all at the same time! So come join in on the fun at Turkey Hill Park on Sunday, October 9th from 10am til 3pm. If you don't have a furry friend to bring, I'm sure you'll be happy to meet some of ours!
