Ernest Finocchio's Fundraising Page
Hi:
I am writing to you in regard to the upcoming 8th RISPCA Dog Walk that will be in memory of my dog Marvin who no one wanted. I adopted Marvin on Nov.1st, 2002 to be our family dog but little did I know what would transpire over the next 7 1/2 years. In short, Marvin's highest honor was being selected by the Delta Society as one of the nation's top therapy dogs in 2009. Through his fund, www.marvinfund.org, Marvin has raised over $165,000.00. The fund has helped thousands of animals get a second chance and has allowed elderly and disabled pet owners who could not afford to pay for their pets medical needs to keep them. During his time at the RISPCA, Marvin visited over 110 hospitals, schools, nursing homes, half way houses, libraries and camps bringng joy and hope to those less fortunate .I took Marvin to the middle of Rainbow Bridge on the night of Jan.15th and let him go after a courageous 10 month battle with cancer. To keep his legacy alive please consider making a donation in his name so that others will continue to benefit and get a second chance just as he did.
Sincerely,
EjFinocchio, D.V.M.
