UPDATE: Sadly Augie passed away on December 2. He remained strong up until the very end. We are all at peace that he is no longer suffering but we will miss him always.
Our team name, "Laissez les bon temps rouler" the cajun expression for "Let the good times roll" captures the true spirit of Augie Cantin, our father and friend who has terminal pancreatic cancer. He continues to remain strong and considers every day a gift. Good times are still happening with whatever time we have left.
Running in the ING Miami Half Marathon are daughters, Christie and Laurie, daughter-n-laws Lisa and Daniela and friends, Alessandra, Brian, Isis, Beverly and Marisol. Together we are hoping to raise money and awareness in support of more research to find a cure for this deadly disease.
