In Spring 08, we went to the hospital to get a ct scan done for Madisen because she was diagnosed with central sleep apnea, obstructive sleep apnea, and hypoxemia. The ct scan came up with something odd so they decided to do an mri. The mri showed she has a tumor located on her brain stem that is intertwined with her normal cells. With the location of the brain stem it is inoperable. She recently started chemotherapy at Childrens National Medical Center, Washington D.C.

 

We were recently giving a date for the next mri which is August 7, Please keep your fingers crossed for some good news!!

This was tragic news to our family! We were given a chance it would shrink or go away but of course nothing is guaranteed.
