Dave and I are running the Capital Region Special Surgery Race for Hope 5K in support of a wonderful children’s hospital program called BLUE for Kids. The BLUE for Kids program provides memorable Build-A-Bear Workshop® experiences for children coping with cancer and other serious illnesses.  Major League Baseball umpires and lovable team mascots host the Build-A-Bear Workshops at children's hospitals across the country. 

Please pledge support by making a tax-deductible donation here on our personal  page. Each Build-A-Bear Workshop experience includes a stuffed animal, outfit, and Cub Condo carrying case. Donate for a Build-A-Bear (or 2, or 3, or 4...) on behalf of your children or perhaps to remember someone special by giving a gift in their memory.

Suggested Donation Amounts: SINGLE = $25 DOUBLE = $50 HOME RUN = $100 GRAND SLAM = $250+.  No matter what amount you are able to give, every dollar helps and is appreciated.
