On June 28, 2009, more than 160 children ages 4-16 from across the state of South Carolina will leave worries of cancer far behind as they plunge into a week filled with fun, new friends and incredible opportunity - all without cost.

As most of you know, Camp Happy Days has been a enormous part of my life for the last 8 years. The joy and happiness I have received from these kids is unmeasurable. Not only the kids, but everyone involved has become a large part of my life. I have made friends and relationships that will last a lifetime.
Its hard to put into words the camp experience if you have not been there. Its almost indescribable. Compassion, Honesty, Selflessness, Joy, Inspiration, are a few words that come to mind, but do not even begin to scratch the surface of what these children bring to camp. Seeing the smiles on these kids faces that you would normally not see for the other 51 weeks is inspiring. I look forward to this week more then anything.
The average cost of sending one kid to camp for the week is $250. Please help me make a difference and dig deep to help. Please pass this along to anyone you know that would like to help.
