Good People -
We propose to award 5 merit scholarships (Team Tanzania Scholars) to the best MD student in each class at Bugando Medical School on graduation day Novemeber, 2009.
The merit scholarships will cover the family contribution portion of the fees for the following academic year = $368.50. For the best graduating MD student, these funds will be given in cash to help them as they embark on day one in the life of a Tanzanian MD.
The total cost of these 5 merit scholarships = 1842.50 ( 368.50 x 5 ).
