Yes, I ran the Chicago Marathon on 12 October and finished the 26.2 miles. It was a hot day and the temperature soared to 84 degrees!  I also ran for a child from Zambia, whose picture was pinned to my jersey during the marathon.

World Vision is doing an awesome job in helping people around the world who live in despair and dire need. They tackle the root causes of poverty by working with children, families, and their communities to provide things like: clean water, health care, nutritious food, education, and economic opportunities.
