From Claire's Family: Why did they choose this cause? "Mom was so touched by Jessie's story that when the girls [Claire's granddaughter Nicole and Jessie] were in preschool together mom would ask about Jessie every week." Even when Chris went back to work, Claire continued to ask frequently. Chris said, "She was truly saddened when Jessie died. When we started discussing charities yesterday and I said Bright Happy Power there was no question in anyone's mind that that is the one she would want. I hope that the donations will allow you to help families like your own."
