I've gone to Bearskin Meadows for 3 years now and couldn't imagine living with diabetes with out it. It's a place to let loose and just have fun. Pretty much everyone has diabetes so you feel like your surrounded by a big diabetic family. The people I met at camp are now and will be my diabetic friends forever.
The Diabetic Youth Foundation has taught our family to overcome diabetes and live a full life with lots of fun and sports. Bearskin Meadow Camp helped us change our life for the better and every year we leave with tears knowing we'll be back next year.
