Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Walk for the Animals is the Humane Society of Broward County's largest annual fundraiser and is scheduled for Saturday, March 3, 2007 at Esplanade Park in downtown Fort Lauderdale. The walk is a fun and exciting event, for both people and their four-legged friends. The Humane Society of Broward County continues to provide the highest number of adoptions in the Southeast United States.

In addition to adoptions staff and volunteers are teaching thousands of children and adults about respect, kindness and proper animal care through many programs and services. These programs and services are funded 100% by private donations and through special fundraising events such as Walk for the Animals. This is why your help is so vitally important. In 2006, the walk broke all records and raised $440,000, which we plan to exceed, but we need your help.
