Hello All,
Well, it is that time of year again when I come to you asking for your financial support to help me help Gilda's Club of Metro Detroit. Gilda's is the place CANCER SUPPORT FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY, THE WHOLE TIME.
Rose and I were both active in Gilda's, she was in a group with other cancer patients and I was in a group of caregivers of cancer patients.
Gilda's is a FANTASTIC place that is really there for all people who need support. You do not need to be a family member, you need only to be touched by cancer, a friend of someone, a relative or an aquaintence. As long as you feel the need of that support because your life touches someone going through this. You just need to feel a need for support and go through a new member meeting. Your connection, as is ours, is our family member or friend is fighting cancer.
