I have worn a small gold cross on my uniform ever since I came back from Iraq in March of 2005. I have 7 or 8 ribbons that I could wear above my name tag in addition to the cross but I choose to just wear the cross.

I want that to be my identity, just my name tag and the cross. More could be discovered about me through conversation if anyone were to ask. In so doing, everything I do at work can be accredited to my identity in Christ.

The Cross. That's the only thing that we should boast in.

Ten Four Ministries is sharing the gospel within the first responder community with this uniform cross outreach. Any first responder can request this uniform cross pin in gold or silver; and have it mailed to them at no charge.

How can you help others to wear the cross as well?

Each uniform cross pin comes with an "In Times of Crisis" gospel tract and a bookmark listing key scripture references and important contact information for additonal resources that are available. These individual mail-outs cost Ten Four Ministries $2 dollars.

@ 10 dollars you are helping to spread the gospel through 5 other first responders around the United States.

Can we issue a call to all followers of Christ, a gentle encouragement in the direction of making known your affiliation, your identity in Christ; by wearing the cross or such other article of faith (ring ,bracelet, etc). You should be encouraged in knowing that most agencies don't have a policy for or against the wearing of the cross.

Would you wear the Cross if you could? Would you help others to wear it?
