Gav Kalia's Fundraising Page
I finished the ING New York City marathon at 4 hours 38 minutes & 35 seconds. I hit 'The Wall' briefly between miles 17 & 18. I then managed to make it to a wedding in Goa, India with a flight from JFK straight after the finish. I survived.
I enjoyed it thoroughly & thank everybody for their help, their support & their donations to the National Stroke Association. I am now preparing for the London marathon in April.
Hi
My name is Gaurav Rajiv Kalia. Most of you at Deutsche Bank know me as Gav or the British-Indian guy, who at one stage had ridiculously long hair. I work with Subbu Loganathan as a Mountbatten intern for Donald Copans.
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!
I am running the NY Marathon on November 1st 2009 as part of the National Stroke Association NYC Marathon Team in memory of the grandfather who passed away after suffering a stroke. Although this is not my first long distance run, it is my first ever marathon attempt. I am raising funds for the National Stroke Association and I would greatly appreciate your donation.
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
Deustche Bank match donations through this website: https://www.easymatch.com/dbafmgp/
Please feel free to contact me. I work on the 13th Floor on 60 Wall Street and my name is in the group directory as Gav.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
