California Rowing Club-Gavin's World Championship Page
Thank you for visiting my fund raising page. After 10 years of hard work and dedication I am off to Munich where I hope to bring home a Gold medal for the USA at the World Championships!
Last week I was named to the 2007 US National Team in the Men's Lightweight 8.
This is my second national team as I previously won a Bronze Medal at the 2003 Pan American Games.
Currently, I reside in Berkeley and train under one of the top coaches in the World, Tim Mclaren, at the California Rowing Club (www.calcrew.com) where we train twice a day, 6 days a week, 5-6 hours a day. However, as most of you know, rowing in the United States is a truly amateur sport, so we are reliant on the goodwill of the community.
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fund raising efforts. Our trip to Munich is self funded and any help you can give is much appreciated. All donations are tax deductible.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
