On January 30th, I will join others for a "mid-winter dip" in the Atlantic Ocean......and do a little "Freezin' for a Reason."
I have set a fundraising goal of $500 and would like to invite you to join me in helping to give these special athletes in the Palmetto state the opportunity to both train and compete. If you wish to participate in the Giv'en for a Reason........I am prepared to do the Freezin'!
Thank you so much for your contribution in 2009 and I hope you will be able to contribute in 2010!
Participants of the Special Olympics of South Carolina thank you, and so do I.
Thanks!
Gaye
This will be my 5th year taking part in the Polar Plunge for the Special Olympics of South Carolina. Currently, our state has 15,500 children and adults with intellectual disabilities participating in over 190 competitions each year, all at no cost to the athletes or their families. Special Olympics offer a "valuable support system that recognizes differences and celebrates accomplishments.”
