Thank you for visiting our Special Olympics South Carolina Fundraising Page. We are raising money for Special Olympics because we believe in their mission to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition for over 17,500 children and adults with intellectual disabilities throughout South Carolina. Each athlete has remarkable gifts and abilities, and each one deserves a chance to show the world what he or she can do. Here's where you can help give these athletes that chance! On Friday, June 8th beginning at 6:00AM, Major Shea Smith, Major Mike Gambrell and other State and Federal Law Enforcement Officers will spend 39 hours straight on top of the Krispy Kreme Doughnut Shop located at 302 North Pleasantburg Drive in Greenville. The goal is to raise $20,000 for Special Olympics. You are invited to come by and meet the officers, Special Olympic athletes and, make a donation. If for some reason you cannot join us for the event, donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to Special Olympics South Carolina. Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
