I was touched by the amazing response to my fundraiser for The Carroll Center for the Blind last year. Since the initial fundraiser, I was so excited by the celebrity response to my celebrity auctions to support CCB:

Now.....I'm back.
The Carroll Center helps all ages of people who have lost their vision. During the summer, children (As seen in the photo) come to CCB for great programs, great field trips and an unmatched learning experience. During the year, young adults to the elderly are aided with the mobility, kitchen, fencing, computer, and technology classes along with a caring counseling program.
I've met the most amazing people at CCB. Each one has their own story on how they lost their vision & how it has changed their life. I've attended CCB information days and met individuals at the beginning of their journey. I've attended CCB graduations and met the same indivuals after their program at CCB. So many different people.....so many different stories.....but one thing is ALWAYS the same. At their graduation, the CCB graduates talk about how the Carroll Center has changed their life. They have new skills, new hope and new friends. Carroll Center graduations inspire me.
In addition to the clients at The Carroll Center, the CCB employees amaze me! Nadine, who works in the development department lost her eyesight due to a gunshot. Her story is inspiring: http://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=553689170405
Nadine didn't let that gunshot end her life. She has battled back and does a fantastic job of getting the word out about the Carroll Center for the Blind.
I raise money and awareness for quite a number of charities. This one is special. There is no greater cause. I humbly ask for your help. Every dollar is needed. Small donations are fantastic! Large donations that will affect so many lives are what I pray for. Do something special. Please donate to The Carroll Center for the Blind.
