My name is Officer Geoff Ballard of the Grove City Police Department and I am a 2005 graduate of the Allegheny County Police Training Academy in Allison Park, Pa. Two days before I graduated from the Police academy, Cpl. Joseph "Poke" Pokorny, a 22 1/2 year Veteran of the Pennsylvania State Police was murdered by a recently paroled convicted felon, following a traffic stop just outside of Pittsburgh along I-279 in Carnegie Pa.

I am riding in Honor of Cpl. Pokorny and every Officer that had paid the ultimate sacrifice, protecting our communities. 100% of the donations received go to the Law Enforcement Memorial in Washington, D.C., to Honor all the fallen Brother and Sister Officers.
