The challenges facing the men, women and children, our friends, family members and neighbors that have been impacted by HIV/AIDS in the Coachella Valley of California are "local" but their "need" is universal.
In the ensuing 2009/10 budget cuts the vital HIV/AIDS support agency the Desert Aids Project has lost critical funding for critcal drug, medical, support and prevention services.
